Los Angeles Chapter Scholarships

Scholarships totaling $6000 for the school year 2005-2006 will be granted to ROTC students (cadets and Midshipmen) enrolled at colleges and universities in the greater Los Angeles area.  Preference will be given to students pursuing majors in science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or natural sciences.

Applications must be submitted by the commanding ROTC officer prior to April 1, 2005.

 
Teacher Of The Year Award

The Los Angeles Chapter will award a science teacher in Los Angeles County the sum of $500 toward the purchase of consumable materials or other equipment that would support experiments in science education.

 The awards will be granted for projects or experiments related to space (preferred) or aerospace technology.
