The Los Angeles Chapter of AFCEA in partnership with the GPS Wing at SMC is hosting the 2010 GPS Partnership Council.
The event will be held at the Los Angeles Air Force Base 4 - 5 May 2010.
In addition there will be a dinner event on Tuesday evening, 4 May 2010 and a golf outing on Thursday, 5 May.

Col David W. Madden is Commander, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) Wing, Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. He is responsible for a multiservice, multinational systems wing which conducts development, acquisition, fielding and sustainment of all GPS space segment, satellite command and control (ground) segment, and GPS military user equipment. The $32B GPS program, with a $1B annual budget, maintains the largest satellite constellation, the largest avionics integration and installation program in the Department of Defense.

Cynamon is the Commander for the MILSATCOM Advanced Concepts Group, Military Satellite Communications System Wing, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. He is responsible for the advanced technology insertion for the Advanced EHF and Wideband Global SATCOM systems as well planning the DoD’s next generation satellite communications architecture.

Lt. Gen. John T. "Tom" Sheridan is the Commander, Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif. He is responsible for managing the research, design, development, acquisition, and sustainment of space and missile systems, launch, command and control, and operational satellite systems. He is responsible for more than 6,500 employees nationwide and an annual total budget in excess of $12 billion. General Sheridan is the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Space and is responsible for the Air Force Satellite Control Network; space launch and range programs; the Space-Based Infrared System Program; military satellite communication programs; the Global Positioning System; intercontinental ballistic missile programs; Defense Meteorological Satellite Program; the space superiority system programs and other emerging transformational space programs.
